Live Proposal at Montaluce in Dahlonega: Elsa + Ryan
We absolutely adore documenting proposals as they happen… setting it all up with the soon-to-be-groom before hand, then hiding the day of waiting for them to arrive (we feel like a little kid while we hide – butterflies all in our stomachs). Then as he gets down on one knee we are there to document all the feels + emotions.
A few weeks ago Ryan and his amazing sister Ashley reached out to us to set up the perfect proposal at Montaluce in the vineyard looking over the valley. It was BREATHTAKING!! Ashley met us there – she was just as nervous and excited as Ryan. Ryan has been dating Elsa since high school, 4 years – so this amazing day has been so anticipated by all their family and friends.
Elsa (who might I add is the sweetest person ever!) said YES!! Her tear-filled joyful yes had all of us reaching for a tissue. They truly are the perfect couple! After the proposal we took some time to document the beginning of their love story. This was followed by the two of them heading into Montaluce for a romantic dinner over looking the vineyard with a delightful bottle of vino. I mean seriously you can’t go wrong with a photographed proposal in the vineyard followed by a gourmet dinner and hand crafted wine!
It was such and honor to document it all.

When Elsa found out that Ryan’s sister Ashley was there – Love this so much. By the way Ashley was hiding in the bushes filming it all. While she was hiding she called me on my cell to make sure we could not see her – when I said no – she then spring up from the bushes…OMG it was so funny and totally made our day. Ashley you are the BEST!!!
Sisters are AWESOME… enough said right!
The love they share is just contagious.
