Most of our couples opt for full day wedding day photo and film when going with both services. However some couples may want to do full day photo coverage and only part of the day with wedding filming. 

This always leads to the question: “What time do you recommend starting and stopping the film coverage?”
Keep in mind all photo + film teams are a bit different. We have a minimum requirement of 4hrs of coverage for local weddings and 6 hrs minimum for traveling weddings. 

With 4hrs of coverage we recommend beginning your film when your step into your dress and ending your film right after your ceremony. This way you have all the most important “1st moments” documented in your wedding filming.
For example….

• Getting into your dress
• Dad’s first look 
• Bridesmaids’ first look
• A no peeking first touch or A first look.
• Romantic photos 
• The ceremony 

With 6hrs of wedding filming we recommend beginning your coverage right when photography starts and ending your wedding filming 30 mins after the dance floor is officially open. This will give you the look and feel of a full day coverage. For an 8hrs wedding day a 6hr film timeline would typical include…

• Recorded voice overs for your film
• Getting into your dress
• Dad’s first look 
• Bridesmaids first look
• A no peeking first touch or A first look.
• Romantic photos
• The ceremony
• Toasts
• Cake cutting
• 1st dances
• Some party time
