Ben and Laura met in Elizabethtown in 2020. She was a brand new area manager at Amazon, while Ben was a seasoned leader at the same location. Ben approached Laura with the welcome of “if you have any questions, come to me for any answers as you acclimate to the new pace of working at Amazon”. Laura immediately took him up on the offer. Before they new it they were texting daily and becoming close friends. Laura had a clever little way of starting out with work questions then sliding in personal questions. As time passed Ben decided to invite Laura over for dinner which ended up becoming their first date that evening.
From there the adventure has spanned from the Caribbean to Snow Capped Mountains, and beyond the U.S..
The wedding day vision was to bring guests into their story and showcase how two families became one. It was a beautiful wine valley experience at Wolf Mountain Vineyards adorn in navy, white and silver to highlight the late summer vibes of September.
Laura slipped into her gorgeous Bel Fiore gown with the help of her mother at Three Chimneys Cottage just adjacent to Wolf Mountain Vineyards. Her bridesmaids patiently waited in their Azazie bridal dresses for their first look with Laura. Excitement and giggles filled the air as anticipation grew.
In the meantime Ben, with the help of his best men (brother and friend) put-on his dapper Modern Groom tailored suit.
Bridesmaids Frist Look
Laura + Ben embraced the tradition of a first look to allow private, personal and unforgettable moments before the ceremony. There is nothing like being with your best friend whom you will spend the rest of your life with before one of the biggest moments of your lives.
Following the first look was the Ketubah signing with both families present.
We then swept these two wonderful souls off for romantic photos.
La Petite Fleur created a beautiful floral design with the main flowers made from Sola with a touch of baby’s breath, lavender and thistle. Laura wanted to be able to keep her maid flowers for a lifetime.
Vineyard Mountain Wedding
The ceremony looked out to a gorgeous view of the Appalachian Mountains on a stunning sunny evening. Rabbi Lebow, who has known Ben’s family since before Ben was born, officiated the traditional Jewish ceremony. Rabbi Lebow also had a wonderful way of making the ceremony tangible for the non-Jewish guests by explaining each element that goes into a Jewish Wedding. His charisma also brought so much joy and laughter to the ceremony. A very special moment in the ceremony took place as Ben as he trembled with excitement to get through his vows. It was beyond touching! He had to take a minute to gather his emotions as he was making his vows to Laura.
The reception followed with guest enjoying dinner, dancing and fabulous wine.
