There are so many ways to describe April in the North Georgia Mountains, majestic, stunning, misty, enchanting, lush, lavish, inviting… however you describe it, it is beyond brilliant. Obviously the perfect place for a lovely wedding day.
Kaya Vineyard proved to be an exquisite location to highlight all the beauty of North Georgia for Jessica + Brice’s wedding day. Tables were adorn with lavender, sage, and rosemary which created a wonderful fragrance in the air as guest arrived. Colors of soft blush and sage green danced throughout the reception tent. The ceremony, located on the hill top at Kaya overlooking the vineyards and mountains, graciously greeted guest with lush ferns and an infinity arch draped with greenery, white roses and eucalyptus.
Jessica and her bridesmaids readied in one of Kaya’s signature cottages over looking the vineyard. Jessica chose to slip into her Jenny Yoo wedding gown with the help of her mother and sister while the rest of her bridesmaids waited outside for their first look. So much excitement and anticipation filled the cottage. We loved that she went with hand embroidered Vans for her wedding shoes.
Getting Ready
In the meantime Brice and his groomsmen dressed in the cottage next-door. During this time Brice’s mother was waiting just outside for her first look with her son.
Jessica also chose to do a first look with her father and brother. While Brice enjoyed a toast with his groomsmen.
First Look
Once these two amazing individuals were ready it was time for their first look. Over looking the vast mountain range their eyes met for the first time as two souls ready to become one. Following their first look, while hair and make up was looking fabulous, we snuck them off for romantic photos.
“We met through a dating app shortly after I (Jessica) finished physical therapy school. Brice was traveling full time. Our first date was at Kaleidoscope in Brookhaven and we closed down the restaurant. Brice walked me to my car and I remember him telling me he was traveling a lot but wanted to make a priority to see me. He did just that because 2-3 days later we were on our second date.”

The Ceremony
The ceremony began right on time with not a dry eye to be found. Brice’s father was their efficient with Brice escorting his mother down the aisle as the wedding began. Jessica as escorted down the aisle by her proud father.
That evening the sunset ended up being stunning as it peeked through two very heavy clouds. At just the right moment we were able to grab a few gorgeous shots of the sun kissing the shoulders of both Jessica + Brice before it slipped away again behind the clouds.

Wedding Reception
Dear Jessica +Brice,
May God grant you both the wisdom to live a harmonious and joyful life together, the strength to navigate life’s challenges, and love that overflows to bless all who know you.
Matthew 19:5-6: “For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So, they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
Thank you again for choosing us as your wedding photographers, it was both an honor and a joy to document your first day as husband and wife.
