Late May is such a lavish time of year, spring is fully in bloom and summer is only weeks away. The “new green” is beginning to change over to a deeper summer green, the rains have invigorated the mountain waterfalls and fireflies are starting to emerge putting on a natural festive light show for the romantic a heart.
At Wolf Mountain Vineyards the summer greens cascade over the steep terrain encasing the vineyard as if it was a hidden hideaway for romance, love and epic gathering. Brooke chose a white and green floral landscape for their gorgeous wedding day. Throughout the venue bouquets of white roses adorn with ranunculus, veronica, thlapsi, white amaranthus and Lilly of the valley set the expression of the day. Large bouquets lined the entire wedding aisle leading up to a wedding arch brimming with florals, the perfect touch. Wine and The Newlywed Post welcomed guest along with a grand marquee sign reading “The Masseys”.
Getting Ready
As Brooke and her ladies readied in the Cabernet Cottage at Wolf the men got ready in the Vineyard cottage. Excitement filled the entire venue. Brooke chose to get ready with the help of her mother and sister followed by a first look with her Father. The bridesmaids were also treated to a first look. Jacob got dressed with the help of his father, who was also his best man, and then chose to do a first look with his mother, LOVELOVELOVE!
First Look
Once these two amazing hearts were ready it was time for their first look. This is such a precious and special time, time set apart from all the over stimulation of the day. It allowed both Brooke + Jacob to just melt with each other and for a short time forget about everyone and everything else and just focus on their love, the reason why they are there. As their eyes meet the stress dissolved and joy embraced them both. After the first look while they were both looking amazing and stress free we also documented so amazing romantic photos.
Bridal Party
The Ceremony
At the start of the ceremony guest were in awe of the little ring bear who came down the aisle in his own little car, driven remotely of course by a skilled driver. But even this could not out do the stunning beauty of Brooke as she walked down the aisle with her father. A butterfly release took place to remember all the dearly departed, and one little butterfly stayed behind. Brooke has a strong feeling it was her grandfather, she had asked him if he was there to give her a sign via a butterfly staying behind and it happened. The lone butterfly sat on Brookes finger for quite some time, she then moved it onto her bouquet as it had no desire to leave and was with her for about a full hour. Everyone got to witness this wonderful event.
The Reception
The reception was bedecked with the same gorgeous florals as the ceremony. Guests enjoyed savory appetizers and award winning wine as they took their seats. Grand entrances took place followed by Brooke + Jacob’s first dance then parent dances. Brooke + Jacob chose to personally welcome their guest as the wedding meal was presented. Guest enjoyed all the festivities along with plenty of dancing and toast.
Dear Brooke + Jacob,
Your wedding was fabulous and it was an honor and a joy to document it all for you. We wanted to share a little Irish blessing with you:
“May God be with you and bless you. May you see your children’s children. May you be poor in misfortunes and rich in blessings. May you know nothing but happiness from this day forward.”
Cheers to the start of your life together as husband and wife!
