Wine Country Wolf Mountain Wedding

September… the time of year when the cool winds begin to blow, the first leaves softly break from the trees dancing slowly to the ground and vibrant colors start to peek out from the deep forest greens. Our eyes begin to take in a palette of color that only fall can so elegantly paint. It’s the time of year when we begin to slow down, cuddle up with the ones we love and just be. The perfect time for a wedding.

Wedding Day Preparations…Dressing and Primping

The day could not have been more gorgeous at Wolf Mountain as the sun peaked through the gentle white clouds as afternoon began, a soft breeze descended from the mountain tops and a cool 68 degrees wrapped the vineyard in a refreshing crisp ease. Exquisite cream rose floral arrangements with blue hydrangeas, light blue delphinium, snapdragon and lush greenery by La Petite Fleur elegantly framed every aspect of both the ceremony and the reception. 

Taylor stepped into her hand tailored one of a kind wedding gown with her mothers help while the bridesmaids eagerly awaited their first look. As she slipped on her heals and jewelry the anticipation grew. The final touch was her Burberry perfume.

In the meantime, just a cottage over, Jermey put on his dapper tux with the help of his groomsmen. All the gentlemen were just as excited, truly a wedding day filled with so many amazing family members and friends.

After both Taylor and Jeremy were ready they chose to do first looks with their parents. Taylor did a first look with her father, who was trying is hardest not to cry. He did not want to make Taylor cry and mess up her make up. Jeremy chose to do a first look with his mother, beyond precious.

Bride and Groom First Look + Romance

These two amazing souls wanted to have a private moment before the day started to read their handwritten vows to one and other, a moment they will never forget.

We just love when couples choose to do a first look, it takes so much stress off them. It also provides a time when they can just step back, embrace each other and take it all in before the minutes of the day begin to fly by like a flash of light.

Bridal Party Formals

While everyones hair and make up was looking fresh + beautiful we also document bridal party photos. This left plenty of time for family and friend time at the reception.

Elegant September Ceremony

Taylor’s pup Nash was supposed to be there for the wedding to walk down the aisle. But sadly he passed away 5 days before their big day from cancer. He was way to young to go, but in his short life he brought so much joy. Thanks to a friend, without Taylor or Jeremy knowing, Nash was there. A friend quietly brought in his ashes and set in on a chair so that when Taylor + Jeremy saw their photos they would have the beautiful surprise of him being there.

Reception

Guest gathered inside of the gracious Wolf Mountain dining room to enjoy exquisite wine pared with beyond delectable cuisine. Their wedding cake by Originals to Remember featured simple elegance of cream frosting with edible pearls. Family + friends danced the night away after dinner and added in some giant glow sticks to enhance the party mood.
