7 years ago we were sitting on our couch sipping on creamy hot caramel coffee and brainstorming taglines for our business. 15 crinkled up paper balls surrounded us and tension was growing, we could not agree on anything. We wanted our tagline to reflect faith and trust in God (I was thinking subtle yet sweet). At about the 3hr mark Brandon blurted out, “Capturing Moments of God’s Glory”.   I liked it, but at the same time it scared me to death. I thought it was to direct or in your face plus I was worried it would scare clients away.

So we sat on it for a few days and I realized my true fear… I was scared that we could never live up to that tag line! It was just then that I heard a whisper in my heart say, Trust Me! That same day we received a bible verse from a friend that read “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 

I know we mentioned this verse in the first post, but it really has been the driving force behind our business. This verse is what gave us the courage to hit the publish button on our tagline, with very shaky fingers I might add.

Seconds after we put ourselves out there we looked at each other going… “NOW WHAT?!?!”. Goals, we need to set goals and since our tagline reflects our faith in God they need to be faith filled work goals.  So we started making a list and over the years we have refined and tuned it as our business has grown.

Each year we have a little process to create our Faith Filled Work Goals. We decided to turn this process into a worksheet to walk you through this process.
