It’s fall in the Smoky Mountains, which means sun drenched hikes with a cool crisp autumn breeze, sunsets that light the sky on fire, cozy warm fires with friends and grand adventures. It’s the time of year when love thrives and journeys unfold.
And this weekend with Cozette + John we had the opportunity to experience it all and document the beginning of their love story over looking the vast gorgeous landscape of our North Georgia Mountains.
The four of us hiked up the trail to one of our favorite overlooks. It’s was Cozette + John’s time first up the mountain. As we reached the summit and the trees gave way to an open rock face these two amazing souls were breath-taken. At the end of a pretty challenging upward hike was the grand view of the full blue ridge mountains. Well worth every calf burning step.
The peace and quiet atop this beautiful mountain swept them away. The sun danced on the peaks and valleys and pops of fall leaves cascaded down the mountain side. The perfect backdrop to the start of their endearing love story.
