He had the ring safely tucked away for 6 months before the proposal just waiting for the perfect time to ask her to be his wife. He dreamed up so many ways to ask but none of them seemed to be “the one“.

Then it happened. His best friends, who were about to marry each other, called him and said, “what do you think about proposing during our wedding!“.   At first Edwin was a little caught off guard but it struck a cord, it was truly perfect. Everyone was on board from all their family + friends to the DJ, photographer and videographer. Everyone but Amanda that was… she had NO IDEA!

The moment came when it was time for Edwin to get down on one knee in front of everyone they knew to ask for her hand in marriage. The dance floor circled around the two of them, the DJ cued the perfect song, the photographer and videographer were in place and he knelt down on one knee. With anticipation filling the room he asked and obviously she said YES!

But you have to know Amanda to really envision the entire proposal taking place. Amanda is super sweet, always taking care of others, always thinking of others, always kind and beyond lovable. I mean seriously she is pretty much AWESOME.  So naturally her first thought was… today is about our friends, not us!! But as she quickly realized that this was all well planned out in advance by her friends her heart was so filled with love + joy.
