This week we had the beautiful opportunity of documenting Lauren + Gray’s gorgeous engagement session here in Dahlonega. With our Lake and Mountain Views as the back drop their love story unfolded in front of our cameras.
All of this began 10 years ago when Lauren was teaching at UGA in Athens… Go Dawgs! A friend of hers was having a birthday party and Lauren decided to arrive just a bit early. As fate would have it, Gray, also happened to be friends of the birthday gent and decided to arrive a bit early too. This little serendipitous meeting brought these two amazing hearts together and ever since then a beautiful love story has begun. A love story that even endured 2 years of long distance.
So very soon, in just over 6 months Lauren and Gray will become husband and wife in 2021! As we documented their engagement session we chatted about their wedding day, old school cell phones and yummy vegan food. We went from the stillness of the lake behind them to the epic strong presence of the Blue Ridge Mountain Range which seemed to wrap around these two amazing souls. The lake, perhaps the representation of the quiet stillness that can be enjoyed within a deep love then followed by the adventure + uncertainty of the mountains. The type of adventure + uncertainty which keeps all great love stories ever changing for the good.
