Adventurous Engagement Shoot at Minnehaha Falls!

They walked hand in hand up what seemed to be an enchanted trail embraced by hues of gold, red and orange. A cool breeze could be felt in the air as fall was rushing in with all its grandeur and beauty. As they got closer the majestic thunderous boom of the falls could be heard echoing through the forest along with the subtle trickles of the water that flowed down the stream. It was their fall camping trip. Time to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world and just slow down to enjoy nature at its best.

Jim helped Christina up the side of the water fall to get an epic view only few have the blessing to take in. As they looked over the forest floor below with the water cascading down beside them Jim got on one knee and asked, “Christina will you marry me?”.

SHE SAID YES!!!

And so this past weekend we returned to the same place Jim proposed for Christina + Jim’s epic engagement shoot.

The way Christina just melts into Jim’s arms is so perfect!

Even with dress shoes on Christina + Jim were up for climbing to the place he proposed at on the side of the waterfall.

The golden light was totally on our side this weekend! The clouds stayed away just long enough for the sweet light to embrace their love story.

As we all adventured through the shoot Jim held Christina’s hand every step of the way. Helping her up waterfalls, down trails and over rock cliffs… chivalry is not dead.

We also came upon a gorgeous golden field of sparkling sunlight and what I call, whispies. HEHE… Brandon also ran around with his arms swinging like a mad man to kick up some pollen which produced light orbs around Christina and Jim for the perfect kiss. Just a few photos down.
