In January Cody reached out so excited about proposing to his girlfriend Savanna with Amicalola Falls in the background. So right away we started planning.

As to be expected Cody was somewhat nervous as he was planning to become a groom-to-be along with planning one of the biggest surprises he had orchestrated thus far. So with that in mind we sat down to listen to his entire plan of proposal.  Then we walk through each step.

The day before the surprise proposal, we scouted the falls for lighting at 7am and filmed (with Brandon acting in Cody’s place) where the best place to kneel and propose was located for the most epic photos. We also plan out where we would be hiding/blending in.

Paparazzi status!

Right on time Cody and Savanna came walking over the bridge of the falls while we were pretending to chatting not notice them. As they looked over at the falls, Cody got down on one knee. Savanna turned around to see what he was doing and was beyond shocked. She had no idea he was going to propose.

With so much joy and excitement she said yes!

If you look closely you can see a tear rolling down Cody’s cheek, priceless!

Congratulations on your engagement, you did amazing Cody. We hope you enjoy your wedding planning process and this wonderful time of your life. Be sure to laugh till you cry, hug that few extra seconds longer and never let a day pass without saying I love you.
