There is nothing like the majestic view of mountains as the backdrop to an engagement session. The way the sun dances on the peeks basking some in redish hues and others in a deep shades of blue. The last few days of winter are passing and spring is trying its best to green the grass while blades of golden whispys still meander on the fields below.

Lilly + Jimmy were able to take in this grander while a cold north breeze swept the land one last time before the warmth of a new season covers our great land. Can we talk about Lilly’s smile…you know when you meet someone who has a contagious smile, you literally begin to smile just because their smile is so enlivening, that is Lilly’s smile.

Lilly and Jimmy were authentic troupers during their session. They both endured 35 degree temps with 25 mile per hour winds in a vast open field looking out over the mountains. We finished their session at Canopy + the Roots with some hot chocolate, cuddles and warm conversation.

Dear Lilly + Jimmy,
Thank you for being amazing and hanging in there through the cold unplanned temps. This is sure an experience y’all will not forget! You both looked AMAZING and were such joy to work with. The love you share is so endearing and we are beyond excited for your wedding day.
