Rachel + Andrew met here in the tiny quaint little mountain town of Dahlonega Georgia where happiness thrives and a slow southern style graces each day. On one particularly beautiful day Rachel’s girlfriends invited her to St. Lukes Catholic Church for a college group meet-up. As they walked into a bright room filled with friends, warm hearts and joy she saw Andrew for the first time, he was playing the guitar and leading praise and worship. However… their love story did not start here quite yet, it was not until a college work retreat at Cove Crest that the sparks ignited.

After a long weekend of volunteering, working hard and glorifying God as a community they all gave hugs and said goodbyes. As the group began to slowly dissipate Andrew and Rachel said their goodbye. Andrew began to walk away. In the back of Rachel’s mind she was thinking, “gosh I really thought there may have been something between us”. And just as that thought began to pass, Andrew stopped, turned around and came running back to ask her out on a first date. Oh be-still my heart, true love strikes again!
