Wow 14 years has felt more like 5 and the passing of time has left me appreciating every memory we have created together and God has blessed us with. We have reached the point in our lives where watching couples who are in their 90’s hold hands and whisper to each other make us daydream about our future. We have thus far gone through so much…

And the list goes on and on. Life has been exciting and it has been challenging. We have had our ups and a downs.

Through it all we have had each other, another hand to hold, a heart beat to listen to and someone to pray for + be prayed by. Every second of our marriage wether it was exciting or challenging has been all worth it. I thank God every day for this mission, to be your wife.

“Wives should be subordinate to their husbands as to the Lord.
For the husband is head of his wife just as Christ is head of the church, he himself the savior of the body. As the church is subordinate to Christ, so wives should be subordinate to their husbands in everything.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church and handed himself over for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the bath of water with the word, that he might present to himself the church in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.”

-Ephesians 5: 22-27

This verse had been such a blessing in our marriage and one where I find home.

As I look back where we were just babes I smile and think, man what an adventure they have in store.

And to think is all started with a yes! Along with a few fuzzy pixelated photos taken in front of my computer.
