This Family Session began long before this day. 20 years ago they exchanged their vows at Forest Hills here in Dahlonega. So this past weekend they flew in from Colorado, which is now home, with their three kids to take a walk down memory lane.
As the sun peaked over the mountains at sunrise the Helton family came alive with laughter, playfulness and joy. And there in the middle was Carla and her husband Sean, two beautiful souls that have brought three amazing lives into this world.
Words can’t even begin to explain how awe inspiring family is. They are the people we go through life with, the ones who are by our side through it all. The Helton’s witness this love so well. It was an absolute honor to document a piece of their story and a huge piece of Carla + Seans hearts.

Carla had one request, she asked us to recreate one photo from their wedding at Forest Hills 20 years ago. It was a photo of both their hands on her bouquet.
We also documented some cuddle + giggle photos of the two of them.
