It is totally human nature for our hearts to want to remember every minute of our wedding day, especially the “first moments”, like the first look, first kiss on the wedding day, first dance, first bite of cake and the list goes on. This is why it is so important to anticipate all the first moments on the wedding day and to also ask your couples about any special moments they want photographed.

Your couple may have some untraditional “first moments” planned as well. We create a photographic timeline during our couples consultation which included all the “firsts” and any special moment they had planned. These milestones are quick, so you have to be prepared ahead of time.On the actual wedding day a good strategy for ensuring that your first moment images come out well is to set your camera with a high shutter speed so you can take multiple, quick photos without delay. That way, in post-processing, you’ll have a series of images from which you can choose the best one.
