There are days in August that our incredibly hot at the end of summer and there are some that feel like fall with the cool cozy mornings, windows open, the morning sun late to rise as the season begins to change… glimmers of time passing and memories being created. This was that kind of day. The perfect setting for Alexa and Eric’s late summer wedding in the mountains.

Alexa dressed in her gorgeous gown with the help of her stunning bridesmaids in the vineyard cottage at Wolf Mountain Vineyards. Her gown was bedecked with an allover matte lace accentuating the sweetheart neckline of the bodice with a semi-sheer construction that shows off modern symmetrical design. The free-spirited blouson sleeves highlight the botanical details of the lace and cuff at the wrist in exquisite floral fashion. For a versatile, late summer/fall wedding look, the sheer statement off-the-shoulder sleeves detach at the bodice to complement or emphasize the swirling lace appliques dancing between the layers of frothy tulle in the soft A-line skirt.

The bridesmaids wore gorgeous pale yellow dresses which complemented the wild flower bridal bouquets effortlessly.

Them men dressed in the mountain top cottage at Wolf and then headed over to the wine bar for their wild flower boutonnières. Eric dressed in a dapper black suit and bowtie. His grooms men were also in blue suits with a pale yellow tie to match the ladies.

After Alexa was ready she did a first look with her flower girls and her brother…LOVELOVELOVE!

Bide + Groom Frist Look

These two amazing souls chose to do a first look, it was priceless. Not only was the moment incredibly special and secluded it also gave them both a chance to breathe and take in the day and the love they share. They also added in a little first look with their pup since he was on the adventure too.

Following their first look we jumped into romantic photos, giving them even more private time to prepare for the wedding ceremony and all the joy filled memories that were about to take place.

The Wedding Ceremony

Guest were seated over looking the picturesque blue midge mountains and vineyard valley. Wild flower bouquets and cones of lavender lined the aisle with a grand wild flower arbor at the front. Their pup made one more appearance in a little tux walking down the aisle with the best man and followed by the flower girls. A unity wine ceremony took place in line with their christian wedding ceremony and kiss to seal their vows.

After the ceremony and family photos we snuck away for a few more gorgeous photos of these two hearts.

The Reception

Elegance continued into the evening with grand entrances, wonderful toasts, rich flavored wines and award winning cuisine. After dinner Alexa + Eric opened the dance floor with their first dance. Guests danced the night way. For the grand exit guest lined up with rose petals in hand. It was the perfect end to and epic day.
