We love to do a little look back at the best wedding cakes of the year… in our personal opinion of corse. What we look for first and foremost is obviously the taste. Because I am allergic to milk, Brandon has to do all the taste tests, he has basically become a wedding cake conisuerrier over the last 12 years. We also look at presentation, esthetics, creativity and over all wow factor. But who are we kidding tase always wins out! P.S. there are in no particular order.
Amber and Kraig had a wonderful full dessert bar for their guest with they own personal small wedding cake in the middle. They did share the bottom half of their cake, which was fabulously tasty and they had a who array of delicious treats to take part in as well. Wedding Cake by Minis by Maria.
Cari + Reagan’s cake was darling and elegant surrounded by gold long stem candelabras. The wow factor was it’s understated elegance and placement at the head of their gorgeous outdoor reception room overlooking the north Georgia Mountains. The taste was incredible! Wedding cake by Heavenly Bake Shop.
Dianna + Andrew’s cake was beyond gorgeous! Standing almost 2 feet tall with 4 layers, pink and white roses, gold flakes cascading down the side, and set on white draped linen their cake brought the wow factor. It was located in the front room as the main center piece of the room as guest entered the winery for their reception.
Nicole + Logan chose a romantic look for their wedding cake + cookie bar. With read roses cascading down the cake and monogrammed cookies to match paired with wines they hand selected, their cake was amazing. P.S. Cake paired with a wonderful wine is always a great way to go. Wedding Cake by Montaluce Pastry Chef.
If you are a chocolate lover, like us, this one will win your heart. With chocolate dripping down each layer of the cake and chocolate shaving all around Lauren and Gray’s cake was AMAZING!
We love when a cake shows off our couples personal style. Jackie + Michael went with a very creative and elegant cake, it totally reflected the years Jackie has spent in the fashion industry. Wedding cake by Sweetly Baked.
And last but not least was Rachel + David’s cake. The main wedding cake was simply elegant with large soft roses and white ribbed cream frosting. The groom cake was a one of a kind TARDIS from Dr. Who. The detail was amazing and exactly what our couple was hoping for. It caught everyones attention.
