When you meet two people like Diana + John the world feels right again. They both have spirits filled with kindness, playfulness, wit, compassion and most of all love. And the love they share and witness to others is priceless. This past weekend Diana + John exchanged their vows at Christ The King Cathedral in down town Atlanta Georgia with a gorgeous reception to follow at The Wimbish House. The extraordinary witness to their wedding at the church was beyond inspiring and what felt to be transcendent.
The morning began at The Wimbish House where both the ladies and the gentlemen dressed. With cascading stairs, grand halls filled with exquisite chandeliers and old world charm the entire place was set abuzz with excitement.
As if everything was not perfect already, the flower girl helped Diana into her shoes. Be still our hearts!!
With shoes on and all the details in place we were off to Christ the King for their no peeking first touch and beautiful sacrament of marriage.
After arriving to the church the ladies gathered in the bridal suite at Christ the King, which is gorgeous, to put on Diana’s cathedral length veil.
The organ began to play and filled the entire church with grand notes of ethereal music. It was time for the ceremony.
It was breathtaking… every wedding we document at a church always looks so royal and exquisite. LOVE!
The trumpets blared as Diana + John were pronounced husband + wife and exchanged their first kiss as a married couple!
Their wedding mass was followed by a grand exit from the church. Our little hearts just explode when couples do a grand exit from the church, they are always so perfect! Please excuse the photo overload of the epicness of the grand exit, just can get enough!
Friends and family then headed over the The Wimbish House for the reception, but first we snuck Diana + John off for some romantic photos.
With The Wimbish House decorated to the nines with elegant decor and stunning Christmas decorations the evening was regal and cozy all at the same time. It was like a fairy tail come to life.
Post dinner the night was filled with endless dancing, warm conversations and joy filled laughter.
Dear Diana + John,
