Incorporating dark greens, black, white and a touch of gold Vanessa + Javier’s wedding vision for their celebration was elegant and exquisitely simplistic. With a picturesque view of the North Georgia Mountains as their ceremony backdrop guests were in awe of the beauty.

Despite going to the same high school Javier and Vanessa never met there. Their school was 1000 graduating students per class! these two amazing souls ended up meeting on October 21, 2011. She had gone to a nightclub to celebrate a friends birthday and he had gone to accompany his best friend that same night. After celebrating, they went to eat with mutual friends and immediately connected.

On April 7th, 2022 during a wonderful planned trip through Utah, Arizona and Nevada Javier proposed. As they hiked the Grand Canyon with a GoPro filming every step of the scenic views he dropped to one knee and asked for her to be his wife. The backdrop looked like a painting and she said yes.

Due to their love of Gods beautiful creation they fell in love with the ceremony Mountain View at Blue Mountain along with the indoor reception building and our beautiful town close by.

Vanessa + Javier chose to forgo a bridal party which made the day effortless, stress free and so relaxed. Vanessa slipped into her gorgeous gown in the bridal suite at Blue Mountain. At the same time Javier put on his finishing touches just outside the venue.

When both of them looked beyond stellar, it was time for the No Peeking First Touch.

For fun Vanessa surprised Javier with the pups coming down the aisle before her. He had no idea and was so thrilled to see the fur babies. But like a great man, he was even more excited to see his stunning bride.

Vanessa’s cousin who is a professional opera tenor brought a regal climate to the wedding for all to enjoy before and during the ceremony.

Vanessa’s bouquet was wonderfully created by a private flower garden in Blairsville and perfectly matched the elegance of the day. The cake by Melissa’s Custom Cakes in Blairsville along with the dessert bar (toffee crunch bar, brownies, cheesecake bites and tiramisu shooters) pleased guest tremendously. The wedding cake was pumpkin flavored.
