Murphy and Zach have Baton Rouge and LSU to credit for the start of their romance. With Zach already living in Baton Rouge and Murphy attending LSU it was only time till their paths crossed. Junior year proved to be that time. Even 3 years of long distance dating could not keep these two beautiful souls apart.
For their wedding day they knew they wanted a vineyard overlooking the breathtaking mountain scape and Wolf Mountain was their dream come true. The fall colors of November set the perfect backdrop. Murphy chose a soft and natural palette full of romantic elements to accompany the fall atmosphere.
Getting Ready
Murphy slipped into her gorgeous designer Vera wang wedding gown and Jimmy Choo heels with the help of her mother and sister in the Cabernet Cottage. In the mean time her bridesmaids waited down stairs for their first look! Her father was also looking forward to his first look with his daughter.
Zach got ready in the Vineyard Cottage with the help of his brothers and chose to do a first look with his mother. Tear jerker!
Bride + Groom First Look
Once they were both looking amazing it was time for their private first look with each other. The perfect time to calm nerves, see their best friend and share their vows.
After the first look they enjoyed time for their romantic photos while hair and makeup was looking fabulous.
Wedding Bridal Party
To ensure a relaxed and festive reception Murphy and Zach chose to have all the bridal party photos also documented before the ceremony. Giving both them, their family and friends optimal time to enjoy the celebration after their gorgeous ceremony.
The Wedding Ceremony
Guest began to be seated and took in the mesmerizing view. As the music began to play Zach walked down the aisle to await his beautiful bride. As guest came to their feet Murphy walked in looking radiant taking Zach’s breath away as he knew, this was the moment they become one.
The Reception
Just before the Grand Reception we snuck in one more bridal party photo and then whisked these two off for the time of their life dance the night away with family + friends.
Dear Murphy + Zach,
We hope this day for ever brings you wonderful memories and happiness. We also hope your love grows even deeper day by day as the years pass. We wanted to share this beautiful poem with you from Song of Solomon 8:6-7.
Place me like a seal over your heart,
like a seal on your arm.
For love is as strong as death,
its passion as enduring as the grave.
Love flashes like fire,
the brightest kind of flame.
Many waters cannot quench love,
nor can rivers drown it.
If a man tried to buy love
with all his wealth,
his offer would be utterly scorned.
May the worth of your love always out shine any gold. Cheers to years of love unending.
Much Love + Blessings,
The Horns
