This past weekend Maria + Patrick exchanged their vows at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw, Georgia with family and friends there to witness all the grace filled beauty of their sacrament of marriage. The day was perfect with a sprinkling of golden sunshine peaking through the milky white clouds every hour or so and a mildly warm temp with just the hint of a cool breeze.
Maria + Patrick along with their amazing bridal party met at The Grand to get ready separately, the girls upstairs and the guys downstairs to ensure there was no peeking before the ceremony.
Prior to each of them getting ready their bridal party took time to prayer over them… be still our hearts!
Once Maria was in her dress and the last detail was ready, her father came in for a very heartfelt first look. And he also took time to pray over his beautiful daughter!
Then it was time for their no peaking first prayer. As they pulled out their letters for each other the presence of the Holy Spirit overwhelmed the moment and transcended it into such a exquisites Holy moment.
This made both Brandon and I tear up!!
Everyone was then off to the church. It was time for there to joy filled souls to become husband + wife!
Following their gorgeous golden lit ceremony and some playful fun bridal party photos we whisked Maria + Patric off for romantic photos. A little time for the two of them to really take in the awe inspiring feeling of being one!
Party Time! Their reception started off with some phenomenal entrances by their fabulous bridal party followed by the first dances. Also there was a lot of dancing, we are pretty sure no-one sat down after dinner the entire night. It was so much FUN!! The adorable hot chocolate bar may have had a little something to do with that.
Dad looking at his daughter during their first dance…tissue please!
Dear Maria + Patrick,
Thank you so much for allowing us to journey on this beautiful sacramental path with you both. Being able to document your vow of love before God was beyond pure and brought forth the mirror image of the divine trinity so well as you gave your yes. Your witness to love is one of great responsibility and we have no doubt God had given you both the strength, courage and grace and to love so very well for the world to see.
May each and every day be full of blessing!
Love,
The Horns
