Christmas Themed Wedding with a Snowy White Grand Exit
Edwin + Amanda adore the Christmas season and decided to exchange their vows while being wrapped in Christmas joy and good tidings at Walters Barn in Lula Georgia. As guests arrived they were greeted with warm cuddly blankets and a sign that read “To have and to hold incase you get cold.” The sign in table held red + gold Christmas ornaments for each person to leave a sweet message on and an vintage red pickup truck escorted Amanda around the grounds. The day was perfect.
After Amanda was in her wedding dress her mother presented her with great great grandmas neckless with a blue handkerchief. Every woman in their family has carried this neckless on their wedding day and now it was Amanda’s turn.
Amanda chose to get ready with the help of her mother and maid-of-honor which then gave way to the first look of all her bridesmaids. They were awed by how AMAZING she looked!! Happy tears were falling.
Then came dad’s first look!
What a proud papa!
If you look just behind the fence you will see that someone was watching their first look take place.
His name is Jack the donkey and he stood and watched the entire thing with us.
All the bridesmaids had blanket scarfs to keep warm… loved those!
Wedding day Christmas socks because they are a must!
The Christmas ball sign in table.
In Edwin’s family it is tradition to do a tea service on the wedding day. So following dinner and right before the dance floor was open Edwin + Amanda held the tea service in the middle of the room. The tradition was beautiful, meaningful and so full of love.
And of corse to complete a Christmas themed wedding you must have a snow filled grand exit!
A big thank you to all the vendor who helped make this day AMAZING!
