Gorgeous Wedding with Three Pastors, Washing of Feet and so Much Love
Ryan + Heather… where do we begin?!
Let’s start with their faith in Christ since that is what brought these two amazing people together. Ryan and Heather met at a weekend retreat and just so happened to notice each other from across the room, shy glances turned into casual conversation and a tiny bit of flirting. As the weekend went on minutes rolled into hours and time flew by, before they knew it they had spent the entire retreat sharing stories, warm smiles and lots of laughter.
The beginning of their story has carried over into every aspect of their lives. It all points back to Christ and that was so evident during their gorgeous wedding this past weekend at Foxhall Resort. Three pastors officiated their wedding, one was Heather’s middle school youth paster, one was her high school youth paster and the other was a pastor who leads young adults on mission trips to serve others. About half way through the ceremony Heather and Ryan took turns washing each others feet as Christ had washed the disciples feet. An enduring act of love and self-sacrifice for the other. Be still our hearts!
It was an absolute honor to document their first day as husband + wife! By the way, did we mention that Heather has fabulous style sense and planned a stunning wedding from mix match jeweled bridesmaid dresses to Kate Spade rose gold wedding shoes for her and a tiny matching pair for the flower girl!
All the ladies gathered outside in their matching bridesmaid robes to start the day off by popping open a bottle of champagne to celebrate Heather’s wonderful wedding day.

The matching Kate Spade shoes – to adorable!
The bridesmaid dresses were beyond gorgeous!
Heather and Ryan opted to not see each other before their wedding, however they did want to pray together before hand. So Brandon and I took advantage of the horse stall doors that adorn the outside of Foxhall and used them as a buffer so these two love birds could hold hands without seeing each other to say a prayer.
Before the ceremony began all the ladies said a prayer over Heather and the groomsmen prayed over Ryan.
The washing of feet!
Ryan’s brother sang “How Great Thou Art” during this time. Seriously not a dry eye to be found.
Glass coffee mugs held the table assignments and were also the wedding favors.
And Brandon had to get a selfie with the grandmas!! Words can’t even begin to say how much I love this photo. The wisdom and joy of our elders is truly priceless.
The evening ended with a sparkler grand exit.
A bug thank you to all the vendors who helped make this wedding so beautiful!
