The Standard Club Wedding of Stacey and Jacob
Before we get to the Standard Club wedding you have to understand how it all got started. It was 5 years ago at a sorority party when they first met. Both of them were reluctant to attend. They finally gave way to their friends’ insistent pleas, not knowing what the night would have in store. As fate would have it the blind date Jacob’s friend had planned for him (guys had to have a date to get in) did not show up and that is when Jacob’s friend saw Stacey + her friend. In a moment of panic his friend grabbed Stacey and asked her to pretend to be Jacob’s date. It was that single moment in time which began a love story that has endured midnight sushi runs, two years of a long-distance relationship and endless nights of warm conversation + endless laughter.
This past weekend Stacey + Jacob exchanged their vows at The Standard Club with all of their friends and family by their side. Their day was perfect… the warm southern sun glistened on the rolling greens, a light breeze carried the scent of jasmine which danced over shoulder tops and excited chatter filled the entire venue. It was a gorgeous wedding day and best day ever to become husband + wife.
Dear Stacey + Jacob,
Thank you so much for choosing us to document your beautiful first day as husband and wife. Your entire family + all your friends made us feel so welcomed. And the joyous love and energy y’all shared with each other melted our hearts over and over throughout the day. From the moment we met you both, we knew your wedding was going to be amazing. Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of it all.
Much Love + Blessings,
The Horns

Stacey’s mom had a few “something old” to give Stacey on her wedding day. The first was an handkerchief passed down from her grandmother used on her wedding day and at Stacey’s mom’s wedding day. And the second was two wedding rings one being her grandmother’s wedding ring!
Dad’s First Look!
Stacey + Jacob also chose to do a first look. Jacobs expression was priceless.
Their wedding was an interfaith wedding, Catholic and Jewish. Be still my heart, God works in amazing ways. Before the ceremony Stacey + Jacob signed their ketubah.
Grand Exit
Stacey and Jacob’s Sparkler Grand Exit was beautiful. This couldn’t have gone better! The whole party at the Standard Club wedding came outside to send them off to their married life.
Thank you to all the vendors who helped make this day so gorgeous!
