I guess you could say they “officially” met at Georgia Southern having the same class together. But at the time neither of them thought anything of it, as they were both in happy dating relationships. It was not until after graduation that things began to fall into place. As fate would have it, they both applied for first year internships at the same place and ended up getting a job there.
When things are meant to be they have a beautiful way of effortlessly coming together.
Lunch became an everyday occasion and an instant friendship formed. For an entire summer smiles, laughter and warm conversation engulfed them both. But as blissful as life was unfolding sad news came to Iche, her father got very ill and went into the hospital. However, during this incredibly challenging time JuRiel called Iche constantly to check in on her. Her heart had captured his and he wanted nothing more than to just hold her through it all.
Call it fate, serendipitous or luck, but for me I believe God has a beautiful way of taking care of us in all our ups and downs and it seems to me that when God took one very important person to heaven and out of Iche’s life He sent her another. (I feel this so strongly that I’m tearing up as a write it.) Someone to be by her side, to hold her, care for her and travel this journey with her. A man that I am sure her father is so happy to see with her. I have no doubt he is smiling down from heaven and loving every minute of this grace filled relationship.
