This past weekend was absolutely brilliant as we documented Amanda + Michael’s beautiful engagement session overlooking the Appalachian Mountains. Talk about two amazing souls in love, a love that is intoxicating and true.
We are so incredibly excited for their gorgeous wedding this August at blue Mountain Vineyards over looking the entire Blue Mountain Ridge. Be still our hearts.
Their love story began as just somewhat acquaintances in high-school due to having so many friends in common, no real spark just yet. Not even really a friendship at that time. Following high-school they both headed off to different colleges, however fait had a plan.
A few years past and they ended up in the same wedding together, she was a bridesmaid and he was a grooms men. Oh the serendipitous nature of love. After the wedding Michael asked Amanda out for a date and to his delight she said yes.
They began dating and a year later Amanda was offered a job in Colorado. A huge move. But without a second thought Michael said he would move with her since his job was so flexible. He always wanted to move to Colorado.
And of corse what better place to propose in Colorado then ontop of a 14er, Mt. Massive. It was just the two of them above the world where eagles soar, so he took a knee and asked her to be his wife!
