Gorgeous Engagement Shoot in Dahlonega Georgia
Lisa and Dennis have such an amazing story to go along with this Dahlonega Engagement Shoot. It was supposed to happen in Charleston on Thanksgiving but an unpredictable case of strep throat changed the plans. So Dennis changed his too. And instead of proposing on Thanksgiving, Dennis decided to get on one knee New Year’s Eve on a private sunset sail in Destin, Florida. Beautiful rose petals adorned the bow of the boat while bubbly champagne and decadent chocolate covered strawberries waited to be enjoyed. It was the perfect setting as the sweet whisper of “yes” came from Lisa’s lips.
We are so excited to be documenting Lisa and Dennis’ love story + their first day as husband and wife which will happen in spring of 2019. But yesterday we started with their gorgeous engagement shoot here in Dahlonega. Lisa + Dennis brought along Milly, who is basically a little model! She is so cute.
The shoot was perfect even as dramatic storm clouds rolled in. And by the grace of God we finished the shoot in the vines moments before the rain began to fall. A sweet summer storm to cool down the evening and water the fruit of the earth.
