Several weeks ago we received a call from Brandan inquiring about a surprise proposal to his girlfriend he had planned for Thursday May 27th at Montaluce Winery. Emily, his girlfriend had no idea and we were so excited!
Brandan had already set up a trip to Asheville for a week for the two of them, Emily knew all about the trip and was so excited. Week trips are the norm for these two amazing souls as both of them work remotely and travel often. Brandon also suggested they kick off the summer and their trip with a waterfall and winery tour before they headed up to Asheville, of corse Emily said yes, I mean who does not love waterfalls and wine!
What Emily did not know was that Brandan had planned on asking her to marry him while at Montaluce, he even made Montaluce seem like and after thought the day of. Oh and if you know Emily, you know she always wears a dress, so getting her to look amazing for photos (ones she had no idea about) was not a worry for Brandan, he already knew that a dress would automatically be her go to for a winery day.
Just as planned (between Brandan and us) they walked through the vineyard and down to the lake under the tree. Brandan gave Emily a hug (our cue to start shooting) and then got down on one knee. With a huge smile and amazing joy Emily said yes!
