It was a gorgeous evening under a star filled sky in the mountains. The grapes in the vineyard were starting to ripen to a beautiful shade of dark purple, barely visible in the moon light. They sipped on two glasses of wine, as he held her close, she glanced down at the ring on her finger – it was happening – they were getting married!
Shawn proposed to Marcie at Montaluce Winery here in our little town of Dahlonega. The night was perfectly planned. Shawn had arrived well in advance to set up flowers, mason jars, photos and music. Then full of excitement he went to pick up Marcie. She was under the impression they were going out for dinner and wine, which was true but also a little more.
When they arrived at Montaluce Shawn escorted her to the balcony over looking the entire vineyard. As they headed up the stairs to the balcony their song began to play and Marcie could see rose petals scattered all over the Tuscan style floor. She then saw the table for two, a bottle of Champagne and endless bouquets of flowers everywhere. It was perfect. Shawn got on one knee and asked her to be his wife. SHE SAID YES!
We are so excited to be featuring Marcie + Shawn’s engagement shoot we had the honor of documenting this past week! these two are AMAZING, fun , laid back, full of big smiles and lots of love. Their wedding day is going to be so much FUN!!!
He makes her laugh so well!
We did one last photo as the sun set just for Shawn which in included his beautiful truck and his favorite team… Chelsea!!
