Giving Back your Gifts and Talents
When I was a little girl my father always taught me that everything I have is a blessing from God and to this day that belief still holds true in my heart. This is why giving back is so important to us.
I often hear a lot of claims that hustling is what leads to success in this life, but Brandon and I believe something totally different. We have both always believed in blessings, being thankful and giving back what was given to us. It was one of the core beliefs that brought us together in life, marriage and business. So whenever we are presented with an opportunity to donate our time + talent we gladly take on the honor.
This week our pastor reached out to us, he wanted some new photos of the church. Photos that highlight some of the new additions they have for weddings – such as floral arrangements, candles and decor along with photos to revamp the church website. They offered to pay us – but we chose to donate our time and talent instead. Our little way of giving back what God had given to us.
And we can attest, there is no out giving God. Immediately after this shoot, we received and huge blessing – what I like to call a big thank you from God for doing His Will.
Friends of our’s Jake + Caitlin, husband and wife youth ministers graciously volunteered to be our gorgeous models (they were amazing;). And the dress Caitlin is wearing is 50 years old… can you say GRACE KELLY, so beautiful!!! The bouquet and boutonnière were designed by Susan Hage of Artistic Florist in Cleveland GA. Jake + Caitlin also had their vows renewed during the shoot – LOVE!!!
Oh and P.S. – The bridal room at St. Luke is GORGEOUS!! The perfect size with lots of light.
This is a tiny little peek at the photos we captured.
