This past weekend we had the honor + joy of photographing Mary + Mike’s amazing wedding day. And the best part about it is that Mary and Mike are not afraid to be who they were created to be. They are fun, overflowing with happiness + joy and their style is playful, unique and down right hilarious! We LOVED every second of it!
Mary and Mike met while playing Battle Board against each other online. A little chatting here and a little chatting there brought these two beautiful souls together. Not even living in two different states could keep them apart.
So…as the suns golden glow danced on the fall drenched CeNita Vineyard Vines here in the North Georgia Mountains Mary and Mike became husband and wife!
The day began with the ladies getting dressed in the upstairs bridal suite and the guys getting Mike ready in the downstairs grooms room.
Once both of them were ready Mike was blindfolded for a No Peaking First Touch to calm any nerves + a change to say hello and hug their best friend… each other.
With a cool November breeze brushing over the vines and the warmth of the suns rays heating their shoulders, guests began to take their seats which gazed out over Yonah Mountain.
Then the time came for Mike to read his vows. Throwing his “vow book” to the side, one of his grooms men came up caring a chest. With a little smile and glance over to Mary, Mike opened the chest and pulled out a hand written scroll with his vows on it. Priceless!
This is what a happy wedding day truly looks like!
We then swept Mary and Mike away for romantic photos of just the two of them!
Of corse, right at the end of romantic photos the guys came walking over for one more must have before the party began!
