She liked him, really liked him. The long conversations, the laughter, the sweet thoughts of him throughout the day…Taylor was smitten with Michael. And the same was true for him. She was the one all his stories became about. She filled his heart and consumed his thoughts.

The only issue was they lived miles even states away from each other. But nothing can stop kindred souls from uniting, not even time and distance. So this past Thursday with immediate family surrounding them Taylor and Michael vowed to love each other forever at Juliette Chapel here in Dahlonega, GA.

In Taylor’s words – how they meet:

“We met in Panama City beach , FL at Tootsies… I was dating my high school sweetheart at the time (he wasn’t with me on that trip) , michael came up to me and my friends and started a conversation … I thought he was a total dork …. weeks later my boyfriend and I broke up and Michael later found me on Facebook book and the rest is history!”

Here’s the thing about Taylor: she’s beyond amazing. Sometimes you meet people and within seconds, you know you’re better + the world is better because of them. Taylor is one of those people. She is free spirited, outgoing, caring, full of good energy and genuinely loves people. The above photo (taken right after their kiss) pretty much sums up Taylor’s beautiful personality in an image.

Every elopement is intimate, unique + special and to add a little special moment to their elopement Taylor and Michael decided to have a wedding cake made to cut and share with their beautiful family. And let me tell you, the cake was SOOOO GOOOOOD! lots of O’s so you know just how good it was:)

After cake and celebrating with family we snuck off into the woods with these two love birds for some beautiful photos to capture their love story. I mean seriously who does not want to dance in the woods – if you haven’t, try it – it will take your breath away and fill you with joy.
