What could be more romantic than a wedding surrounded by vineyard nestled in the mountains on a misty fall day?
Was it chance that they met in college?
Was it chance that they both were on the swim team?
Some may say yes but we rather see it as a Godincidence. A a remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances directed or orchestrated by the amazing hand of God!
Elizabeth + Robin first met during Elizabeth’s recruiting trip at Wingate University and immediately became friends. And yes, the recruiting trip was for the swim team which both of them were on during their time at Wingate University. Elizabeth was a freshman and Robin a sophomore. Freshman year they both enjoyed each others friendship immensely. Sophomore year these two amazing souls started dating with their first date at a beautiful Italian restaurant followed by a romantic stroll through the museum.
A few years later Robin proposed at Amicalola Falls. As they pulled into the parking lot, where the hike to the falls would begin, quiet snow flakes began to fall all around them. With the perfect stillness of winter Robin waited until they were the only ones standing before the falls. Then Robin turned to Elizabeth, got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife.
The wedding day was timeless and elegant. The feeling of romance danced throughout Wolf Mountain as the mist rose from the mountains and the fog kissed the vineyards. Colors of dark green and white draped the day in a luxurious gracefulness. Robin and Elizabeth wrote their own vows, both so dearly heartfelt, there was not a dry eye to be found. Their vows gave guests a window into their relationship while also letting each other know how much the other means to them.
In keeping with the colors La Petite Fleur used a gorgeous array of white flowers and greenery. Alpine Bakery created a simple yet rich cake for for the two of them to cut and enjoy along with an assortment of desserts and cupcakes for the guests.

Following the vows we snuck the bridal party off for wonderful photos of celebration!
As the sun began to make its final descent towards the mountain tops it was time for the party to begin.
