There are certain couples who just light up a room with their fun loving laid back presence and friends + family love being around them, Madison + Nicholas is that kind of couple.
Their wedding day began at Kaya Vineyard overlooking Yonah Mountain and the blue ridge, while a cool breeze blew over the vineyard and the feel of fall was in the crisp morning air. The vineyard cottages were a bushel with hair and makeup underway.
When we arrived to begin detail photos Madison looked radiant and greeted us with a warm relaxed welcome and hugs, very Audrey Hepburn like…LOVELOVELOVE.
The perfect start to a gorgeous wedding day.
Getting Ready
Madison slipped into her elegant wedding gown featuring a stunning strapless bodice with fit and flair skirt. Her mother and two sisters were there to help with all the details and finishing touches. Once she was dressed she chose to do a first look with her bridesmaids. The ladies were taking back by how stunning she looked and filled the room with squeals of excitement.
In the meantime Nicholas was getting ready with his groomsmen just a cottage over. Although there were not squeals from the guys, there was still so much excitement filling their space as well.
Once they were both ready it was time for Madison’s first look with her father and Nicholas’ first look with her mother.
Bride + Groom First Look
These two beautiful souls chose to do a first look for so many reasons…
The desire to have a beautiful moment set aside with just the two of them before all their guest arrived.
The longing to ease any stress, to hold each other close, to take it all in and breathe deeply.
And last bu not least they wanted to provide a relaxed day for their wedding party and family by having the ability to document the majority of their photos before the ceremony.
Following the first look we snuck off for romantic photos.
Bridal Party
The Ceremony
On top of the hill over looking Kaya Vineyard and the mountain ridge family + friends gathered. Champagne greeted guest as they took their seats. Olive greens, elegant whites, black tie and Frank Sinatra set the mood. And of corse a groom who was fighting back tears as his bride walked down the aisle made the moment perfection!
The dip with a kiss as they walked down the aisle as husband + wife after their vows was breathtaking.
Little sneak away post ceremony waiting for the sunset to show off her wonder. And we were not disappointed!
To top it all off guest gather for a phenomenal reception surrounded by vines, exquisite wine, amazing food and even better conversation. Fabulous heartfelt toast had guest both crying and laughing setting the stage for a wonderful evening of dancing. Not to mention the dance floor was filled all night long.
Dear Madison + Nicholas,
Your wedding day was fabulous and beyond compare, we hope all the memories last a life time with both all your photos and film. Thank you for choosing us as your photographers, we could not do what we love without y’all. We wanted to offer a little prayer for your marriage:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for gathering us here on their blessed day to witness the union of Madison and Nicholas in holy matrimony. As they step into this new chapter of their lives, we ask for Your guidance and blessings. May their love be nurtured by Your wisdom and sustained by Your strength. Let this ceremony be a testament to the love they share and the faith they hold. Through Your grace, may their journey together be filled with joy and devotion. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Cheers to a wonderful long life together.
