30 Acre Private Estate Wedding Nestled in the Dahlonega Georgia Mountains
I remember the day we met Gina + Corey for a consultation over wine + chocolates and they told us all about their plans for their private estate wedding. They shared with us their love of nature, hiking, outdoors and adventure. We relived their 6 month hike up the entire Appalachian trail, just the two of them hand in hand. And as you may expect Brandon and I asked tons of questions as we LOVE to hike. There we were like two little kids hung on their every word as they chatted about the journey.
Needless to say they had us at Appalachian trail!
Back to the story…
But back to them. Gina & Corey are such an incredibly laid back, free spirited, fun loving sweet couple. This past Saturday they exchanged their vows on 30 acres of pristine Georgia Mountain Country with flowing rivers, babbling shoal’s, endless shires of green ferns and the blue ridge mountains as the backdrop… be still my heart – beyond GORGEOUS!!!
Dear Gina + Corey,
Thank you so much for the honor and blessing of documenting your love story and first day as husband + wife. The day was perfect and your 2 souls coming together was even more perfect. And the next hiking adventure you take call us, we want to go too!! Cheers to your love story and the new adventure afoot.
Much Love + Blessings,
The Horns
There is nothing like starting a wedding day off with a champagne pop and a beautiful toast!
Gina’s sister did the honors of taking the dress off the hanger and getting it prepared for Gina to put on.
Sister just ROCK!! Truly.
Wedding day beard balm for the groom, perfection.
Gina’s dress was gorgeous. It was full lace with a custom detachable overlay tulle skirt bridal train. It was her perfect dress… elegant, flowing and free spirited.
And the guys had leather suspenders. Brandon is getting himself a pair too.
The First Look
The first look for this private estate wedding took place in the tree fern shire. A step into another world, one filled with their love story! Corey’s first look produced some tears as he took in the beauty of his bride. And yep. Gina was tearing up too.
EEEK!!! What did I tell y’all, the perfect dress!
Right after the ceremony the entire wedding party had a group circle hug to bring in the love.
Good Tears of Joy!! A raw true emotion moment. This, this is the good good stuff real memories are made of.
After the ceremony we headed to the bamboo forest on the property. A magical place where Gina loves to explore.
And then to the tree farm they just started 2 years ago, also on the property.
And to op off the night, a long expose photo a happy groom ready to take on the world!
