Walking in you knew this was different. Giddy conversations, joy filled excitement and spontaneous outbursts of laughter that came with the elation of a Catholic wedding day were all there. But there was something else too. Quiet, deep adoration and love that made friends and family realize that this… this was different.
Growing in Love
Living in Naples Corrinne + Edgar met at Ave Maria School of Law. Weekdays they would stay up late studying for law school finals together. Even well after the library had emptied out and only the two of them were left they lingered. But then Sunday would come. Sundays were for Mass, friends and relaxation. In the depths of their hearts they knew it, they knew there was a total, faithful, fruitful and free love blooming. They were both growing in the capacity of expressing love, the love in which the person becomes a gift – and by means of this gift – fulfills the meaning of his being and existence.
The Catholic Wedding
Edgar + Corrinne married at St. Mary Catholic Church in Helena, OH, along the shimmering golden glow of vast open wheat fields and vibrant sunsets. They promised each other to continue their love not by way of mere words, but actions. As they kissed they made visible an invisible reality.
It was a bright and sunny day in Ohio. The couple prepared at church and had lots of tasty accoutrements on hand…
Corrinne surrounded herself with friends linked back to her childhood days in Ohio…
Edgar, you’re looking mighty dapper!
The Catholic church quickly filled with family + friends. Excitement could be felt all around.
And then it was time for two to become one!
Edgar + Corrinne chose to do a grand exit from the church. This Catholic wedding was so perfect!
Following their grand exit we snuck off for some gorgeous romantic photos with these two love birds.
As we came to the end of the romantic photos it began to rain. So Edgar + Corrinne chose to dance together in the rain to begin their epic journey of marriage. After all a wet knot is harder to untie.
Followed by a dance filled reception.
