Holy Spirit Catholic Church Wedding and Ivy Hall at Roswell Mill Reception

He had plans to propose on an overseas trip to Barcelona during a winery tour, however, as fate would have it things did not go as planned. The planned proposal did not take place during the wine tour. So Matt was on a mission to find the perfect spot to ask for Ally’s hand in marriage. As the evening drew near they ended up going for a walk to watch the sunset. They came upon a 1000 year old church in Florence which provided a gorgeous location to watch as the sunset disappeared into the horizon. As Ally sat on the ledge of a short brick wall that overlooked the country side Matt decided that was it… the perfect time and location to pop the question.

Ally said “Yes” and this past weekend we had the honor of documenting their first day as husband and wife!

Matt and Ally have the sweetest pup – well he is actually more like a 30 something year old now (in dog years that is). They wanted so badly for him to be a part of their wedding day. So to make a little room for him, Matt went with a bowtie that had their pup all over it. LOVE THIS!
