Organic Essential Oil Disinfectant

FILED IN: GET PERSONAL

I remember sitting in my high school freshman class and our health teacher telling us that within the next 10 years we would all know some one with cancer. My first thought was ,no way, that won’t happen to me… typical freshmen mentality. But here I sit 20 years later and I have watched over 15 of my closest family members + friends battle cancer. My teacher was right. 11 years ago I sat in my dermatologist office for a check up and he saw something that “disturbed” him. So he took a sample and after 3 days of me being in full blown panic he called me back into his office. My palms were sweating, heart racing and I could not catch my breath. He walked in and said, “It is what I thought, you have a very common type of skin cancer, Basal Cell Carcinoma“. All I heard was cancer and I felt as if my world was imploding. Noticing this my doctor quickly began to reassure me that this was easily treatable and I could prevent a recurrence.

Fast forward to today and I have been clear of the cancer, however my family and friends have not faired as well. 2 years ago my father was diagnosed with a lymphatic cancer. The year after his diagnosis was so scary to say the least! The chemo did all but kill him and I know the only thing that saved him from death, the day needed 12 blood transfusions in less then 12 hours, was knee dropping, tear filled, heart ranching  prayers from all of my family and friends. We almost lost him twice that year. But praise God he is still with us and in remission today.

And unfortunately I have several other stories simular to this with about cancer survivor I know. I share this because for me it was a big red flag that said find a way to maintain health and limit toxins in your life as much as possible! So I turned first to my trust and faith in God and that led me down a beautiful path to living a live that is as toxin free, organic and in line with Gods original plan for creation as possible.

Over the past year I have felt the tug on my heart to share our organic life style that is striving to be more and more toxin free every day. If your looking for way to prevent cancer,  if you know some one with cancer or you yourself have cancer and want to live a more organic toxin free life please join us on this journey. We would love to share with you our journey, resources and what we have learned over the past 11 years.

Today I am starting with an Essential Oil Disinfectant. 2 years ago I rid our entire home of all mass manufactured cleaners and soaps. We now use just a few simple ingredients to clean our entire home, laundry and ourselves. Ok enough chatting on my end lets get to the how.

Organic Disinfectant Spray Recipe
1/2 cup Purified Water (fluoride + chemical free is best to keep it all organic)
1/2 cup Organic Vodka or Organic Grain Alcohol
10 drops Organic Rosemary Essential Oil
20 drops Organic Wild Orange Essential Oil
10 drops Organic Eucalyptus Essential Oil
10 drops Organic Lavender Oil
10 drops Organic Peppermint Essential Oil
10 drops Organic Tea Tree Oil

Mix all ingredients together and add to a glass spray bottle. Shake the spray bottle frequently while cleaning.

Please buy the highest quality organic essential oils… we buy Certified organic oils.
If you looking for a great water filter we use The Berkey Water Filter System.

Non organic essential oils bought from your grocery store can be labeled “Therapeutic Grade” but they only have to contain 5% of the essential oil… scary! They don’t work for cleaning and contain potentially bad toxins. 100% organic essential oil is what you want. I have to warn you this spray is addictive, once you use it you will LOVE it. The fragrance is amazing and your home feels fresh, clean and toxin free.

NOTE: Store the spray in a dark place out of the reach of children. Light breaks down oils. Use the spray within 2 to 3 months or it will start to lose it’s potency.
